And I give you Ghostnote. A simple app with a big mission. To remove clutter from your everyday life. Give me all your feedback so we can make this app even better.
Notes not lost, but saved based on the path of the asset if you move the files the reference gets lost. Next version will allow you to export the notes so your notes will be saved.

Cool, looking forward to your next version. Shall we pay for the update?
Next update is going to have Evernote integration and the ability to export to RTF. We are working on integrating team notes so you and your team can share notes and todos on folders and files in dropbox box or any other cloud service. Sign up for the newsletter to be notified about more.

I installed Ghost and clicked on “Install Scripts” I can’t get notes to stick to folder on the desktop or specific files. How do I get this to work?

At 66, never having learned appleScript (I can still work in COBOL, I think), I appreciate these scripts that increase the functionality of Ghostnotes.
Problem is, there’s no central repository for them and no oversight (or testing?).
How about an upload folder for contributions which could be reviewed weekly? And the working ones published with instructions for implementation and use (documentation) and the others returned to the authors for fixes and/or completion.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind donating a little for an especially useful bit of new functionality.
